Job Description:
As part of the Data Lakes and Machine Learning team, the Data Engineer will focus on unlocking business value by developing data-driven solutions. This role involves building and maintaining data platforms such as Databricks and Data Fabric, along with data pipelines, to support machine learning models and advanced analytics. The associate will also contribute to data cleanup, preparation, and analysis, ensuring that data is properly structured and ready for use in data science workflows.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering, particularly around data science teams and data platforms.
 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain data pipelines to support machine learning models and analytics.
  • Assist with data preparation, cleaning, and structuring for analysis and AI/ML workflows.
  • Collaborate with the AI/ML team to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
  • Work with data platforms such as Databricks and Data Fabric, supporting data availability and reliability.
  • Infra support for various data platforms like snowflake, microsoft fabric, Databricks etc.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with their data services is preferred.
  • Build the Backup & Recovery mechanisms for Data platforms.

 
Qualifications:


  • 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Understanding or experience with data platforms such as Databricks or Data Fabric.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline development and ETL processes.
  • Basic knowledge of data preparation and machine learning workflows.
  • Programming skills in Python, SQL, or a similar language.
