The Job:  


As a Data Management Analyst, you’ll be part of our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team working as an on-site employee.


In this role, the Data Management Analyst will partner with the GSM & IT organizations to ensure data completeness & accuracy goals for both source data and applications are measured, maintained and the path(s) to improvement are defined and thereafter, executed on.  The primary data domain(s) for this role will be Category Management & Supplier Management.   


You’ll get to:  


  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Data Analysis: Perform basic statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights Use data visualization tools to create charts, graphs, and reports Evaluate the performance of data systems and seek ways to enhance them, report performance on a periodic basis
  • Reporting: Prepare and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders Assist in the creation of dashboards and reports for ongoing data monitoring
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to understand data needs and objectives Support senior analysts and data scientists in more complex analyses and projects. Define data requirements and coordinate implementation with business partners and vendors for solution design and delivery
  • Tools and Technologies: Utilize software and tools such as Excel, SQL, Snowflake, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) Learn and apply new tools and technologies as needed

You also have: 


  • One or more years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or data science roles
  • Degree (Bachelors) in computer science, data engineering, information systems, statistics, data analytics or related field
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; attention to detail & commitment to accuracy
  • Desire to explore datasets, learn business context, troubleshoot data issues
  • Strong verbal and written communicator who wants to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Snowflake, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Ability to query databases using programming languages (R, Python, SAS etc.) to manipulate and draw insights from large data sets
  • Understanding of Data Modelling & Warehousing Concepts (relational & non-relational) and Data Architecture
  • Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes
  • Excel Proficiency – Advanced
  • Fluent in English
     

Technical “Nice-to-Haves”:


  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: PowerBi, Business Objects, etc.
  • Experience with data validation and Data Intelligence Systems like Collibra & Ataccama
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, other
