Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize business goals.
Communication: Clear and effective communication is crucial for explaining data policies and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Negotiation: Balancing different interests and finding common ground among stakeholders.
Empathy: Understanding the needs and concerns of different departments and users.
Responsibility coordinator: Clarity in distinguishing our respective duties and respective team duties.
Team Player: Collaborates effectively with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
DG Framework Understanding: Worked with massive datasets and have hands-on experience implementing comprehensive data governance frameworks.
Strategic Thinking: Developing and implementing data governance frameworks that align with organizational goals.
Project Management: Managing data governance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Data Modeling: Understanding how data is structured and how it can be used to support business objectives.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Basic Concepts of Data Governance: Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage etc.
Have experience in Creating/Conducting Trainings to enhance data literacy.
Experience in understanding and implementing changes as per organizational demands.
Understanding of the Value Driven Approach: Align with org directions, prioritizes accordingly and can understand the value of the prioritized projects.
Understanding of types of data (Eg PII, Sensitive etc.)
Understanding of the data governance/management best practices.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of databases, data warehouses, and data management tools (any tool, even inhouse built tools or Collibra or Alation).
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data quality issues (eg. data duplications) and implement solutions.
Education & Training
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
This role is applicable across various industries, but experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)) are desirable.
Fluency in English and local language mandatory

Experience with data & analytics governance tools and technologies.
Ideally, 8+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
Ideally, a proven track record of successfully implementing and leading data & analytics governance programs.
Ability to evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, including understanding contractual terms, service-level agreements (SLAs), and negotiation skills
