Visa is seeking a Data Engineer in the Data Platform department to act as one of key technology leaders to build and manage Visa’s technology assets in the Platform as a Service organisation. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will work on Open source Platforms Enhancements. You will have the opportunity to work on big data open source tech stacks and also contribute to oepn source
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate: 2 or more years of work experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline. With 1+ years of software development experience
Proficiency in engineering practices and writing high quality code, with expertise in either one of Java or Python and Automation
