Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. You will create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. Your typical day will involve working on data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of data processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Design and develop data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. - Create and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow. - Implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. - Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise. - Optimize data processes for performance and scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data professionals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering, AWS Glue, PySpark, Mainframe Modernization. - Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Hands-on implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms. - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Data Engineering. - This position is based in Chennai. - A 15 years full-time education is required.15 years full time education
