NVIDIA is looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join its Professional Services team. Academic and commercial groups around the world are using NVIDIA products to revolutionize deep learning and data analytics and to power data centers. NVIDIA is looking for someone with the ability to work on a dynamic customer-focused team that requires excellent interpersonal skills. This role will be interacting with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale AI/HPC projects. The scope of these efforts includes a combination of Networking, System Design, and Automation, and being the face to the customer.
What you will be doing:
Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation of AI/HPC Data Center infrastructure
Responsible for updating the project documentation status to the team members and discuss strategies to mitigate risk.
A successful candidate will strongly collaborate across planning, product engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful launch of NVIDIA products.
Handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers as they begin rolling out some of the most sophisticated systems in the world!
Provide feedback to internal teams, such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.
Discuss reliability, qualification, product certification, and manufacturing readiness gates across the engineering and delivery teams.
Align manufacturing and test assumptions and provide engineering support for the initial production ramp plan.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data center efficiency, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams to ensure seamless operation and compliance with security protocols.
What we need to see:
At least 8 years of proven experience as a data center infrastructure engineer, field service engineer, or similar with a background in designing and implementing data center infrastructures.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment.
Knowledge of Data center critical environments (Power and Cooling)
Solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast and highly dynamic environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in documenting processes.
Willingness to travel (25%).
