What is the Airbus Security Defence team doing?
Security threats have increased drastically in the last few years and organizations are facing an increasingly complex threat landscape. Airbus digitalization is bringing many opportunities but they come with new risks. Therefore, the main mission of security defence is to identify the threats and detect security incidents that targets Airbus, and propose adapted security response. Security defence team is supporting Airbus businesses and ensuring their protection against cyber threats.
Monitoring, detection, and analysis of potential intrusions in real time and through historical trending on security-relevant data sources.
Response to confirmed incidents, by directing use of timely and appropriate countermeasures providing situational awareness and reporting on cybersecurity status, incidents.
Qualification & Experience:
We’re looking for passionate people, who are eager to learn, willing to share, and establishing innovative ways of working and influencing culture change.
Bachelor degree or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4 to 8+ years of hands on experience in SIEM, Endpoint Security and Network Security Technologies
Working knowledge of endpoint protection and endpoint management tools: AV, EDR, XDR etc.
Experience in ensuring network security through next gen firewall, IDS/IPS, and web proxies
Experience in troubleshooting installation and configuration of agents, applications, and packages
Proven skills on ensuring Operating system security, specially windows and Linux
Knowledge of Security referential such as Sigma rules &, MITRE ATT&CK etc.
Basic knowledge in scripting and automation (such as Python, Bash script etc.)
Proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and utilize time effectively
Good interpersonal and communication skills, works effectively as a team player
Experience in Agile, SAFE & Scrum methodology is preferred
Responsibilities
Manage and enhance the security infrastructure including security applications, intrusion detection systems, secure remote access solutions, and endpoint security
Support the development, implementation and execution of Information Security processes and propose governance design models on how Information Security best enables the organization
Contribute towards design, implementation, and documentation of secure architecture in collaboration with the Airbus Security Architecture and Consulting teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions to mitigate risks
Support security incident response efforts, including supporting investigation and resolving of security incidents in a timely manner.
Ensure that security policies and standards are being followed across the teams
Conduct regular briefings to understand product upgrades, roadmap of features
Participate in Security threat and monitoring forums to learn and keep abreast of the latest latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats
Collaborate with other security teams in understanding their needs in maintaining and configuring security components and tools
