The Role: Customer Education Operations Analyst


The Team:


The Customer Education team at Commodity Insights is instrumental in driving product adoption and enhancing the customer experience with engaging, online courses and self-serve product knowledge. Focused on building exceptional digital learning programs delivered through our world-class learning portal, - The Learning Center, the team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and strategic alignment to empower our clients and employees alike. 


Role Description:


We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Operations Analyst to join our growing Customer Education team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision making by analyzing key metrics, identifying trends, and uncovering insights that inform the development, deployment, and optimization of our learning programs. You will work closely with the Customer Education Operations team, Learning Portfolio Managers, Content Developers, and other stakeholders to leverage data to improve learner outcomes, enhance program effectiveness, and drive business growth.


Responsibilities and Impact:


  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including our Learning Management System (LMS), customer relationship management system (Salesforce), and other relevant databases.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of learning programs, such as course completion rates, learner engagement, time-to-competency, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Analyze learner data to identify knowledge gaps, areas for improvement, and opportunities for personalization.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate data insights through charts, graphs, and dashboards.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders, including the Customer Experience leadership team and Business Line leadership.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve learner engagement, optimize learning pathways, and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and effective data utilization.
  • Proactively identify and address data quality issues to ensure the integrity and reliability of data analyses.

Basic Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.  
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in the education or training industry.
  • Experience using an API tools (e.g. Postman or similar) for extracting, updating, and converting data outputs.
  • Experience with statistical modelling and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning techniques.
