What this job involves:


As the Creative Design Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented creative designers and ensuring the successful execution of creative projects. You will collaborate closely with the APAC Creative and Innovation Lead, Head of Pursuits Design Team, APAC Pursuits Leads, and other stakeholders to develop creative design solutions that meet business objectives.


As the Team Lead, you will provide guidance, mentorship, and creative direction to the team members while maintaining a high level of quality and creativity for the entire pitching campaign (including, but not limited to, creative decks & mood boards in InDesign and PowerPoint, while embedding interactivity, animations, videos, etc). The Creative Design Team Lead will report to the Head of Pursuits Design Team, while directly managing 8-10 designers.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating outstanding visual experiences. You must have expertise in creating visually compelling design that effectively communicates key messages to the target audience.


The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.


Job Responsibilities


  • Lead a team of designers, providing both creative direction and technical guidance throughout design projects.
  • Collaborate with the APAC Creative and Innovation Lead, the Head of Pursuits Design Team, APAC Pursuits Leads, wider design team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and deadlines.
  • Must have a superior understanding of the fundamental concepts of graphic design principles.
  • Develop and execute creative design concepts across various platforms that run the entire client engagement process, including, but not limited to mood boards, pitch decks (proposal and presentation), brochures, and placemats.
  • Create visually impactful and persuasive designs that effectively communicate the key messaging for an entire pitching campaign.
  • Review and provide feedback on team member's design work, ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, allocating resources and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Mentor and develop junior designers, helping them grow their skills and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and development, to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Work independently and under tight deadline pressure on several projects simultaneously
  • The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders in your design work.
  • Strong work ethics: Takes initiative and can self-manage. Resourceful when approaching projects, can navigate through obstacles to bring projects to fruition, and can effectively multi- task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on various Real Estate related deliverables like 2D Maps, Site plans, Floor plans, Building Illustrations, and property brochures/flyers.

Key skills and experience


  • A high level of proficiency using Adobe Suite, InDesign Interactive, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of workflow management systems and AI tools.

  • Ideal candidate will be adaptable to new tools as per business requirement

Communication skills


  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others through written, drawn and verbal means.
  • Prior experience of work with global and international clients is preferred.

Time management


  • Detail-oriented, organized, with problem solving approach and should be able to manage multiple projects and simultaneously while maintaining accuracy

Team management


  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing feedback and guidance to help them grow in their roles.

Prior experience of people management in a corporate setup is preferred.
