About the team 


This position is part of the global FIS Corporate Communications team that supports business teams and executives in India and the Philippines. We work collaboratively, embracing digital mediums to connect, engage and educate our diverse team members. We are flexible, hard workers who like to be creative and strategic.


About the role


This digitally savvy communications professional will assist in developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for key executive leaders within FIS’ India and Philippines markets.


What you will be doing


  • Regularly partner with executive leadership in FIS India to assess communication needs and support new initiatives for internal and external messaging.
  • Identify speaking opportunities for FIS India leaders at key industry events and work on submitting nominations for key awards to bolster FIS’ brand presence and visibility.
  • Craft and edit engaging content aimed at enhancing company understanding among employees, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Incorporate mixed media elements such as video, podcasts, infographics, and utilize social channels to execute the communications strategy.
  • Foster a robust and consistent FIS brand narrative through targeted internal and external communication initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communication strategies for FIS India and Philippines in conjunction with the Corporate Communications leader
  • Innovatively incorporate mixed media elements such as video, podcasts, infographics, and utilize social channels to execute the communications strategy
  • Forge and leverage relationships with journalists and industry influencers to drive PR campaigns, bolster FIS India’s brand presence and visibility.
  • The Corporate Communications Specialist will help to:
    • Elevate FIS’ brand and market awareness in the local and regional context.
    • Enhance employee engagement and understanding of the company’s strategic direction and core values.
    • Foster a robust and consistent FIS brand narrative through targeted internal and external communication initiatives.
    • Drive innovative and measurable public relations campaigns aligned with FIS’ global communication objectives.

What you bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in communication roles within the financial services sector or large tech companies.
  • Established network of contacts among journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • Proficiency with communication tools and emerging AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot.
  • Outstanding editing and communication skills, with a preference for knowledge in AP Style.
  • Demonstrated ability as a relationship builder, able to engage effectively with senior business leaders and executives.
