Edelman, India is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Creative Group Head to join our creative team and lead the design and execution of various projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the visual direction and quality of our work, as well as managing and mentoring junior designers.
As a Creative Group Head, you will work closely with clients, account managers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to understand their needs and goals, and deliver innovative and effective design solutions that meet their expectations and deadlines. You will also create and present design concepts, develop and launch brands, and evaluate marketing and campaign strategies.
To be successful in this role, you should at least have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience as an art director or a senior designer in a reputable agency or company. You should also have a strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates your creativity, skills, and style. You should be proficient in using design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as familiar with web design and digital media. You should also have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop compelling and innovative copy for campaigns across digital, print, social media, and other platforms.
  • Oversee and guide a team of copywriters to ensure high-quality content and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and marketing teams to develop cohesive brand messaging.
  • Review and refine copy to align with brand objectives and target audience.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into creative work.
  • Present creative ideas and campaign concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in an agency or brand marketing role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and strategic copy across various mediums.
  • Excellent command of language, storytelling, and brand tone of voice.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of writers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
