As a Control Management Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain centralized controls reporting to ensure alignment with global standards, providing a comprehensive and consistent view of the control environment that facilitates informed decision-making and risk management.
- Create and analyze MIS and governance materials by developing insightful dashboards and reports that highlight key control metrics and trends, enabling proactive governance and strategic oversight.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of control frameworks by contributing to the design and refinement of robust frameworks that adapt to evolving risks and regulatory landscapes, ensuring operational integrity and compliance.
- Partner with teams across locations to collaborate in delivering high-quality, accurate data and drive progress by effectively escalating and resolving control issues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor trading activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements by implementing rigorous monitoring processes that detect and address compliance breaches in a timely manner.
- Manage risk assessment structures by maintaining and optimizing process and control KPIs to provide a clear view of risk exposure and control effectiveness, supporting strategic risk management initiatives.
- Participate in process reviews to identify potential risks and design effective control measures that enhance the organization's ability to mitigate threats and maintain a strong control environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Strong analytic, creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Ability to handle stress and tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be skilled in performing complex quantitative analysis.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Word
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Possess expertise in Investment Banking Risk and Control domains, with a comprehensive understanding of control structures and extensive exposure to firm-wide regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of data analytical tools like Alteryx and Tableau is an advantage.
