Job Description:
















Key Responsibilities:


Continuous Improvement:


  • Lead & coach operations and other stakeholders in all MSE activities through the agreed site’s calendar (5S, KAIZEN , LEAN, PDCA, FMEA, SMED, VSM )


  • Owning factory 5S and standardization agenda, leading process audits, providing trainings for shopfloor teams.


  • Training and mentoring of associates in continuous improvements (Lean, Kaizen, 10 steps Problem Solving & SOPs)


  • Helping in the Idea Generation system and owning tracking & reporting and process governance.


  • Accountable of CI budget spend and savings / benefits quantification and validating.


  • Reporting periodic savings coming from CI initiatives to IE for tracking purpose, and giving the factory management team direction and the full factory picture regarding Continuous Improvement.


  • Partner with IE to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in selected areas based on the data analysis.


  • Supports in implementation of Continuous Improvement Projects with other stakeholders.


  • Utilize CI/Lean tools such as Six sigma and FMEA to ensure processes are efficiently optimized with quality and cost in mind.


  • Tracking on factory operations consumables to meet budget targets , work on consumables cost optimization for the plant .  


  • Keeps track of Operation area SOPs/WIs , triggers SOP change in nexus basis change frequency or change in process /practices .


FMOS:


  • Ensures integration of the right KPI’s that drives performance in the FMOS in partnership with FMOS Pillar lead.


  • Tracking FMOS meetings attendances and effectiveness and report for FMT on the same


  • Ensuring deviations are tracked and managed through FMOS 5 whys and tracking delayed actions.


  • Conducting different FMOS meeting forums health check.


  • Coaching and tracking the 10-Steps of problem solving across FMOS system.


  • Regularly analyze focus area KPIs & address deviations via VSL


Contractor Management


  • Track and report any deviations from the approved cost. Track the contractors’ skill relevance to the lines & make sure that all contractors are validated on Mars Safety & QFS standards.


  • Building a relevant and strong evaluation criteria, in order to conduct a quarterly evaluation of all contractors with the support of the Value Stream Team Leader and technical operators on each line.


  • Responsible for tracking supplier performance by consolidating Operations, Q&FS & Safety shift, and periodic audits, and ensuring all contractual agreements are adhered to.


  • Being the SPOC of resource planning in weekly production planning meeting.


Educational Qualifications


BSc or above in technical field and 7+ years of Operations experience and 5 years as Area Associate(B3 level)


Knowledge/Experience


  • Good command of English


  • Excellent communication & engagement skills for different levels (FMT, Shift Leaders, shop floor associates, contractors and different stakeholders)


  • Excellent Analytical Skills – Loss Analysis and Systemic action planning


  • Excellent command with desktop tools (Outlook, Excel, Power point, Atlas,PPM etc.)
