About the Role
As a Content Project Manager, you will develop & produce competitive, innovative content for new or revised products with focus on compelling electronic formats and functionality, that meet market needs and are designed to drive usage and grow market share.
Responsibilities
Managing assigned projects from contract stage through delivery of final files ensuring that standard deliverable files are produced on time and within budget, to approved proposal vision.
Collaborating with Content Strategist to understand and realize approved vision of the project while working closely with authors
Briefing authors, editors, translators on workflows and train them to use tools to deliver print and electronic material to required standards
Monitoring quality throughout content development, production and delivery of final files on time within budget to ensure finished publication meets multi-channel market needs adhering to quality benchmarks
Managing artwork process with authors, illustrators and vendors per project, ensuring all delivered artwork meets technical and product requirements
Liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth quality delivery of all production stages before publication
Advising and resolving day to day issues in content development and production by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents within guidelines and policies of the organization
Requirements
Be a university postgraduate preferably in life sciences
Have excellent experience in Scientific, Technical and medical publishing
Display experience managing writers and Subject Matter Experts
Demonstrate experience in managing multiple, high-priority projects.
Be a natural communicator with an ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and external suppliers with honesty and integrity
Be able to show skills in project management and delivering results in a global matrix organization through managing multiple projects
Have knowledge of e-devices and e-content workflows with familiarity of acceptable formats for digital text and art
