Job Description Summary
Responsible for tracking, collecting, updating and maintaining details for Investment advisory firms and investment professionals associated with these firms. NASDAQ is the major client for this information, along with the Credit Suisse and few other clients. The candidate must be fluent in Japanese & English language. This is because, calls need to be made in Japanese language and updates on the production tool needs to be made in English, as well as in Kanji language. The position is within Data Operations which supports data across Refinitiv products and services.
Job Description
The role is for the Profiles Content team which is responsible for collecting and maintaining details for Investment advisory firms and investment professionals associated with these firms.
- Collecting, updating and maintaining details for Investment advisory firms and investment professionals associated with these firms by analyzing company websites, web searches, making phone calls to the Investment Professionals & firm & sending emails.
- Monitor corporate actions of the listed firms in the Japanese markets
- Developing expertise in data related issues. Build knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in Japan markets.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the Japanese Market.
- Ensuring that relevant information is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner for all Japanese professionals & firms
- Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
- Maximize usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
- Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.
- Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries.
- Support specific projects, as assigned by manager.
- Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
