Accountabilities


- Good knowledge & experience in end-to-end Software Lifecycle management & Service delivery
- Experience in IT Service Management - Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes
- Interact with business users, understand requirements, and convert them into technical designs
- Be part of a truly Agile and DevOps team providing data engineering support across the EU IT portfolio
- Exposure to platforms observability & service health monitoring tools
- Collaborate with different cross-functional IT teams to maintain and deliver solutions using technology
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint review activities
- Exposure to code assurance, Unit and System Integration Testing, Data testing, release management control, and support of UAT processes
- Promote and embed CI/CD to improve the software development process and transform the IT system estate into an ecosystem that delivers great user experiences and excellent IT service to the business
- Assist the delivery and Platform Lead with regular application performance metrics, health, scorecards, and analysis reports


Essential Skills/Experience


- Experience developing data solutions in Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Python/pyspark, SQL, and AWS Services (like S3, Lambda, Glue)
- Experience working in software engineering CI/CD processes, with experience in the design and implementation of applications build, release, deployment, containerization, and configuration control management
- Excellent SQL coding skills
- Exposure to Data Modelling skills (RDBMS concepts, Normalization, dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schema etc.)
- Experience in scripting using Python, Unix etc.
- Experience working with JIRA, Service Now, and Automated Testing tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, CI CD tools - Ansible, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with an orchestration capability like Airflow
- Experience working with a range of BI & analytics architectures including traditional data warehousing, visualization, analytics
- Experience and familiarity with data modelling (entity relationship diagrams, conceptual models, logical models, star schemas, third normal form)
- Experience delivering data & analytics solutions using different delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
- Familiar with one or more data visualization tools (Power BI)
- Experience working in a globally distributed team of 10-to-15-members
- Complex problem-solving capability and ever-improvement approach
- Must be analytic, creative and self-motivated
- Willing to work in a cross-cultural environment
- Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives
- Excellent communication & documentation skills
- Eager to learn and develop new tech skills as required


Desirable Skills/Experience


- Domain knowledge (processes & data): Pharma Compliance, Regulatory Reporting etc.
- Snaplogic, React, API knowledge is advantageous
- Stakeholders Engagement
- Good storytelling capability
- People/Process Management skills
- Proficient in communicating with business stakeholders
- ITSM knowledge preferred
- Preferable Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
- Preferable industry: IT
- OVERALL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of overall experience and 2+ years of Snowflake and AWS
