Competitive Intelligence Consultant

Roles and responsibilities

This role would require supporting high impact projects through timely research, insightful analysis and expertise in scientific and commercial aspects of pharmaceutical markets (incl. respiratory, vaccines, infectious Diseases) across CI and consulting projects.

Principal Accountabilities

• Subject matter knowledge for pharma CI, consulting, and commercial projects
• Contribute and lead project execution through (a) Use of domain knowledge, (b) rigorous secondary market research (including, but not limited to pipeline research, treatment landscapes, trial analysis, company analysis, product profiles, news tracking and monitoring etc.), and (C) Expertise in databases like Trial trove, Pharma projects, Cortellis, Trial registries and experience on working with other databases like Capital IQ, Pharmatell, AlphaSense
• Responsible for insight generation and highlighting critical perspective for deliverable.
• Undertake execution tasks independently and develop a first draft of the report, for review.
• Can actively monitor indications/target areas of key-interest and develop client ready summaries.
• Engage and coordinate with the team members for smooth execution of the tasks within defined timelines
• Experience in client handling and presenting the analysis

Minimum Educational Skills and Experience required

• Graduation in MBBS/MD/BDS/Pharma/Biotechnology, or advanced degree in life sciences (PhD).
• 4-7 years of experience in case of advanced life sciences professionals
• Must display sharp analytical thinking, good data visualization/presentation and problem solving approach
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English) with ability to clearly, articulate the message with a clear storyline
• Has excellent interpersonal skills (should have good listening skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations)
• Is flexible to contribute to ad hocs diligently and multi-task with the allocations
• Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
• Is able to take and deliver on engagement based responsibilities are assigned and managed by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals
