Snowflake’s Finance Organization is seeking a Sales Commissions Manager to join our Global Commissions Team. In this role you will ensure timely, complete, and accurate commission results that align with our GTM and Company strategies. We are looking for a systems and audit savvy individual who can lead a strong team of analysts and deliver on efficient controls and processes. 


AS A SALES COMMISSIONS MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:


  • Drive continuous improvement, make recommendations for changes to processes, workflows, etc. and execute on those changes.


  • Ensure commissions are paid on time, accurately and in compliance with plan guidelines.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve commission issues in a timely manner.


  • Managing performance and career development for a team of Sales Commission Analysts.


  • Partner with internal teams to ensure deliverables are met. Lead coordination with statutory audit teams on commission deliverables


  • Be able to effectively manage multiple projects & competing priorities.


  • Lead analysis of variations from forecasted and prior period results to provide meaningful and accurate insights to senior leadership. 


  • Review monthly commission reports, accruals, and payroll workbooks for completeness and accuracy.


  • Provide training and support to sales teams regarding the incentive compensation plans and related commission processes.


OUR IDEAL SALES COMMISSIONS MANAGER WILL HAVE:


  • 5+ years of people management experience


  • 5+ years of sales commission experience


  • Familiarity with basic revenue and sales commission accounting principles


  • Strong understanding of Salesforce, G Suite, Snowflake, Spreadsheet software with ability to leverage these tools to streamline processes and workflows


  • Proficiency in ICM Tools (Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Everstage, SPIF), with emphasis on formula and structure configuration, participant set up, and plan document distribution


  • Effective communication skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • MBA/CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred


  • Proven experience in supporting complex commission data structures for various types of sales incentive programs


  • ICM Configuration Certifications
