The Commercial Platform Engineer or Sitecore Web Developer will manage and support the SN Sitecore platform and be responsible for the performance and development of our global website. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of a seamless, engaging, and high-performing digital experience for our customers worldwide.
What will you be doing?
- Sitecore Platform development: Develop, implement, and maintain Sitecore solutions, including templates, renderings, components, and workflows. This includes coding, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
- Website maintenance, fix, and performance: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing websites. This includes proactively monitoring website performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and implementing optimizations to improve speed, stability, and user experience.
- Multi-functional collaboration with IT, marketing, and digital teams: Collaborate effectively with IT, marketing, and digital teams to understand business requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure seamless integration of Sitecore solutions with other systems and initiatives.
- (10%) Innovation and Optimization: Research and evaluate new Sitecore features, technologies, and standard processes. Find opportunities to improve existing solutions, streamline processes, and enhance the overall platform functionality.
- (10%) Data integration between Sitecore, CRM, and other platforms: Develop and maintain integrations between Sitecore, CRM systems, and other relevant platforms. This includes designing and implementing data flows, ensuring data integrity, and solve integration issues.
- (10%) Platform enhancement and improvement: Proactively see opportunities for platform enhancements and improvements. This includes proposing solutions, documenting requirements, and collaborating with team members to prioritize and implement changes.
What will you need to be successful?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems (IT), business administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven 5+ years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining the Sitecore platform.
- Sitecore certification preferred!
- Solid experience with the ASP.NET framework for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications.
- Demonstrable experience of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with integration tools and platforms, such as Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Deep understanding of the Sitecore platform, including Content Hub, SXA, and advanced Sitecore development. Strong knowledge of Sitecore Content Hub, SXA, and version upgrades.
- Experience with performance optimization, load balancing, and platform scaling.
- Knowledge of web security, compliance, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, GDPR).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superb communication and customer management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team setting.
- Solid grasp of system integration, performance optimization, and solve.
