Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our Commercial & Industrial sales division across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling our comprehensive range of fuel solution products and fuel management systems to key commercial and industrial customers/accounts. This role involves strategic planning, managing a team of regional sales managers, and driving sales growth across the nation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve national sales targets.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of regional sales managers to drive sales performance.
• Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Prepare yearly budget and be responsible for delivering the budget – topline and bottomline
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual orders and sales forecasts.
• Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
• Liaise with Marketing to ensure brand consistency and lead generation. Participate in trade shows if required with support from Marketing.
• Work with Product development to provide business case(s)and insights for new product requests and developments for product/solution improvements.
• Work closely with Finance, Projects and service team to ensure delivery to customers.
• Coordinate with factory to ensure customer shipment
• Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
• Travel as needed to meet with customers and internal team members.
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a regional or country Sales Manager, preferably in the fuel solutions, automation solutions or related industry. SaaS related industry experience a Plus
• Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
• An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
• Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
• Availability to travel as required.
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering /technology required. Degree in Business Administration a Plus
