With ServiceNow, we are establishing a Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in India (Pune and Bangalore), which will support our transformation priorities. ServiceNow is integral to the creation of digital workflows throughout the bank’s global operations and will help us simplify operations, empower employees, improve customer service, and bring innovation to market faster.
- You will be joining the Foundational Platforms team responsible for strategy and development for the core, cross-technology software tool sets of IT Service Management, Asset Management and Risk Management. These products are vital to friction-less processes that are reliant on golden source data, and to enable intelligent use and management of the application/service estate. Foundational Platforms is responsible for driving improvement in the governance processes and exposing the data necessary to capitalize on analytics and automation opportunities.
- The Configuration Management Lead (SACM) role will include managing day-to-day execution of Configuration management policies and processes. Managing Data hygiene and audits. You will work closely teams across Technology including Service Mapping Analysts, Event Analysts, Discovery Managers, Asset Management and ITSM teams.

Your key responsibilities
- Collaborating with Process Owner to Mature & Implement existing Processes.
- Maintaining a Complete, Correct and Compliant CMDB, which supports our Global teams and processes.
- Using specialist knowledge of the ServiceNow conceptual and logical data model including the ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM) to develop meaningful dashboards.
- Using SQL and Excel skills to Identify data trends which require focus from the data owners.
- Managing maintainable solutions for data requirements that:
- Balance execution speed with longer term strategic goals.
- Exploit native ServiceNow to avoid and reduce technical debt.
- Use existing reporting sources.
- Developing core reporting capabilities for processes to self-serve and consume.
- Ensuring that all delivered solutions and data security controls meet Governance and control requirements, and that all solutions meet internal and external audit requirements.
Your skills and experience
- Demonstrable Experience of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM. ( 12+ years )
- Good understanding of Asset and Configuration Management within ITIL.
- Proven Experience of delivering solutions for improving Operational Effectiveness.
- Proven Experience of successfully managing data quality in ServiceNow.
- Proven Experience of creating and updating Documentation to support Users and Data Governance.
- Experience of creating reports and using technologies like Excel and SQL.
- Excellent communication and relationships skills, both written and verbal, ability to work effectively in virtual teams across multiple locations
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Used to working to tight deadlines and identifying problems at an early stage
- Expected experience in ServiceNow is minimum of 3 years
