Location/Division Specific Information

This position will be based in Bangalore, India and be part of the Automation and AIOps team within Corporate Infrastructure and Security.

How will you make an impact?

Infrastructure as code is becoming the norm how infrastructure is built at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role you will help to develop and maintain software solutions that creates and monitors infrastructure in private and public cloud.

What will you do?

• Develop, test and document IaC applications and test automation - every day may be a different challenge
• Participate in choosing the right tools and technology
• Communicate with partners to find out what they really want
• In this role you will be a member of the Automation and AIOps  team that is in charge of monitoring and automation functions for applications and infrastructure across 180+ sites and our primary data centers.

How will you get there?

• Education
  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer related sciences
• Experience
  • Solid python  development experience (5+ years)
  • Experience with Terraform or Go is considered an advantage
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Understanding and handling REST APIs
  • Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana or similar monitoring tools is considered an advantage
