As a Cloud Engineer II, you will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions primarily on Azure and AWS platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers and teams to support the development, deployment, and management of cloud-based applications and services. This role requires foundational knowledge of cloud technologies, scripting skills, and a proactive approach to learning and contributing to cloud initiatives.


Primary Job Responsibilities


  • Assist in the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services with applications and business processes.
  • Implement and automate deployment, configuration management, and monitoring using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Support cloud resource management, optimization, and cost control initiatives.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, including performance tuning and security.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Learn and apply new cloud technologies and tools under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office
  • 30-day notification period preferred 

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, preferably on Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Strong containerization and Kubernetes skills
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure components.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Developer Associate.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Previous experience in supporting or assisting with cloud infrastructure projects.
