Job Description:
Position Overview:
As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will take ownership of planning, executing, and delivering infrastructure projects, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, project management methodologies, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project completion. You will manage and mitigate risks, address issues proactively, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution:
o Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
o Define project objectives and goals in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.
o Identify resource requirements and coordinate the procurement of hardware, software, and services.
o Ensure all infrastructure designs meet business, technical, and security requirements.
2. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
o Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
o Foster collaboration between IT teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
o Manage day-to-day operations of project teams, providing guidance, support, and conflict resolution as needed.
3. Budget & Resource Management:
o Oversee project budgets, ensuring that the project remains on track financially.
o Track expenses and negotiate with vendors to control costs and optimize value.
o Monitor resource utilization and ensure efficient allocation of both human and technical resources across projects.
4. Risk Management & Problem Resolution:
o Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate them.
o Anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and lead efforts to resolve issues before they impact project progress.
o Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate change control processes.
5. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
o Provide clear, timely updates to senior management and other stakeholders on project status, including progress against schedule, budget, risks, and issues.
o Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
o Conduct regular project review meetings to ensure goals are being met, and adjust plans as necessary to stay on track.
6. Quality Control & Compliance:
o Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and comply with internal policies and external regulations.
o Monitor adherence to security protocols and ensure that best practices for IT infrastructure are followed.
o Oversee the deployment and post-deployment activities to ensure that infrastructure solutions are operational and secure.
7. Post-Implementation Support & Continuous Improvement:
o Oversee transition from project completion to operational support, ensuring a smooth handover to relevant teams.
o Conduct post-project reviews and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify lessons learned.
o Make recommendations for future process improvements based on the analysis of past projects.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
o Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Experience:
o 12 to18 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
o Experience in managing infrastructure projects involving servers, networks, cloud computing, security, and storage.
o Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools, technologies, and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, Cisco, etc.).
• Certifications:
o Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
o ITIL certification or experience with IT service management frameworks is an advantage.
o Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
• Skills:
o Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering largescale infrastructure projects.
o Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
o Expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and budgeting.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security protocols.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience in managing data center migrations, infrastructure automation, or IT transformation projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, or other industry-specific compliance standards.
• Experience with vendor management and negotiating technology contracts and SLAs.
Work Environment:
• Collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to new technologies and cuttingedge infrastructure projects.
• May require occasional travel for on-site project visits, vendor meetings, or client interactions.
• Flexibility to work AMS time zone
