The responsibilities of the Tax Analyst include exposure to tax accounting and compliance assignments from a US federal, state, and local tax perspective. From a tax accounting perspective, the analyst will become knowledgeable of the components and calculations of the effective tax rate and deferred taxes pursuant to ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109). From a tax compliance perspective, the tax analyst should be familiar with the federal, state, and local corporate income tax filings for the firm.
