Civil Lead – Quality

We are currently seeking a Civil Lead - Quality, to join our Project Site, and this position will be directly reporting to Site Quality Manager

About the mission we offer you:

The Civil Lead - Quality, will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of all civil aspects of a project, including construction activities, materials, and workmanship, by implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with other teams to maintain compliance with project specifications and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle, all while adhering to Technip’s quality management system.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil engineering.
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or similar role
• Proven experience in quality management systems (QMS) within the construction industry, particularly in civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of relevant quality standards and codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Proficiency in inspection techniques and data analysis
• Leadership skills to manage a team of quality inspectors
• Ability to work independently.
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans specific to civil engineering works, including detailed inspection checklists and quality control procedures. 
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all quality activities. 
• Conduct quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. 
• Oversee the inspection and testing of all civil engineering materials (concrete, aggregates, reinforcement bars, etc.) to ensure they meet project specifications. 
• Coordinate with site laboratories for material testing and analysis.
• Monitor and inspect all civil construction activities on site, including piling, excavation, foundation works, concrete pouring, and finishing works. 
• Identify and address any quality issues or non-conformances promptly. 
• Conduct in-process inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Regularly report quality status updates to project management and stakeholders. 
• Communicate quality concerns and non-conformances to relevant parties for timely corrective actions
