Citrix AVD - Principal Engineer

Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Citrix AVD Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting, implementing, and managing Citrix solutions, specifically in the AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) environment.

• Design and implement scalable and secure Citrix AVD solutions for various business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize existing Citrix AVD deployments for performance and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix environments to ensure high availability and quick resolution of issues.
• Develop documentation for architecture designs, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay current with Citrix technologies and best practices to recommend improvements and new solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Citrix technologies with a focus on AVD.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools for deployment and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA, CCP) are a plus.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
