Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the HR function for a high-growth retail jewellery company headquartered in Surat, gearing up for a major IPO next year. This role demands a strategic thinker who can align talent with business vision, scale people systems, and drive a culture of performance and growth.
The ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise, strong leadership acumen, and prior experience in listed companies or reputed corporates.
Shape HR strategies that support business growth and IPO readiness
Partner with CXOs to align org design, workforce planning, and HR transformation
Build scalable, compliant, and future-ready HR systems
Lead hiring across levels with a sharp focus on quality and speed
Strengthen the employer brand across digital and industry platforms
Oversee onboarding and retention initiatives across locations
Implement robust performance frameworks and OKR systems
Drive learning programs, leadership development, and succession planning
Promote internal mobility and coaching culture
Ensure competitive C&B structures and maintain internal parity
Oversee statutory compliance, audits, and labor law adherence
Drive efficient payroll, grievance, and redressal systems
Cultivate an inclusive and high-trust workplace culture
Lead structured employee engagement and recognition programs
Promote diversity and equitable practices across teams
Drive HR digitalization across HRMS, workflows, and dashboards
Use data to track people metrics and inform decision-making
Continuously improve process efficiency and employee experience
MBA/PGDM in HR or related field from a reputed institute
15+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in listed or large corporate environments
Proven track record of managing scale, transformation, and business-aligned people practices
Strong command of Indian labor laws, compliance, and HR operations
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Business-focused, people-first HR leader
High EQ with strong change and crisis management capability
Proficient in HR tech platforms and automation tools
Strategic yet execution-driven
