Role Overview:





We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the HR function for a high-growth retail jewellery company headquartered in Surat, gearing up for a major IPO next year. This role demands a strategic thinker who can align talent with business vision, scale people systems, and drive a culture of performance and growth.


The ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise, strong leadership acumen, and prior experience in listed companies or reputed corporates.


Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
  • Shape HR strategies that support business growth and IPO readiness


  • Partner with CXOs to align org design, workforce planning, and HR transformation


  • Build scalable, compliant, and future-ready HR systems


2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
  • Lead hiring across levels with a sharp focus on quality and speed


  • Strengthen the employer brand across digital and industry platforms


  • Oversee onboarding and retention initiatives across locations


3. Performance & Capability Building
  • Implement robust performance frameworks and OKR systems


  • Drive learning programs, leadership development, and succession planning


  • Promote internal mobility and coaching culture


4. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
  • Ensure competitive C&B structures and maintain internal parity


  • Oversee statutory compliance, audits, and labor law adherence


  • Drive efficient payroll, grievance, and redressal systems


5. Culture, Engagement & DEI
  • Cultivate an inclusive and high-trust workplace culture


  • Lead structured employee engagement and recognition programs


  • Promote diversity and equitable practices across teams


6. HR Tech & Analytics
  • Drive HR digitalization across HRMS, workflows, and dashboards


  • Use data to track people metrics and inform decision-making


  • Continuously improve process efficiency and employee experience


Key Qualifications
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or related field from a reputed institute


  • 15+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in listed or large corporate environments


  • Proven track record of managing scale, transformation, and business-aligned people practices


  • Strong command of Indian labor laws, compliance, and HR operations


  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Selection Process:

The selection process will be conducted in two phases:


Phase 1: Conducted by Our Recruitment Team

  3. Virtual Interview with a Senior Executive – A leadership-level interaction to assess fit and readiness


Phase 2: Conducted by the Hiring Organization
  1. Virtual Interview with the COO – Detailed discussion on alignment with business and HR strategy


  2. Virtual Interview with the Director – Evaluation of leadership philosophy and cultural fit


  3. Final In-Person Meeting in Surat – Onsite interaction for final discussions, if shortlisted
