Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are
  • You would be responsible to forge strong working relationships with the Client & IBM Client Engineering teams, helping establish the IBM team as a trusted partner.
  • During the pre-sales process, you will partner with the IBM Client Engineering and the client teams to define issues and co­ create solutions that leverage IBM offerings to solve the client’s business challenges.
  • You will build/create and assesses business cases to ensure viability (level of effort, speed of implementation, quality of available data)
  • You will shares insights gained from cross-client engagements and bring forward value­ based opportunities.
  • Leveraging the IBM Client Engineering & Services communities to share and learn from best practices would be an essential agenda in this role

What you will do


  • Support business value framing, value realization, and orchestration practices of the Client Engineering team
  • Develop business cases for follow-on work
  • Frame changes to operating models and workflow requirements from MVS
  • Embed Services offerings into Client Engineering work


Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Minimum 5+ years of industry experience
  • Expertise in financial modelling, business case evaluations, business and operations strategy
  • Deep knowledge of Services offerings and demonstrated skill in articulating the value proposition in the client context
  • Fundamentals of project management and risk management to support MVS delivery


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Deep knowledge and skills in strategic and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing technical value propositions, pro-forma financial business cases and impactful client proposals.
  • Applied experience in guiding cloud native development & architectures to business outcomes.
