The Data Risk & Control team is part of the DWS COO – CDO Organization. It safeguards our Data Strategy by managing non-financial risks, control topics, and regulatory changes. The team operates across the global DWS organization, delivering complex key risk and control initiatives for Data that add value to the business by reducing complexity and enhancing controls. They collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, working with multiple stakeholders across DWS and Deutsche Bank.

Your Key Responsibilities:


You will support the Risk & Control Specialist & Head of EDM in the responsibility for overseeing and governing the findings management process, act as a center of expertise, and provide early warning and corresponding escalations for internal and external findings at risk of becoming overdue.


Tasks:


The responsibilities will include:


Governance and Oversight of Data & Records related Findings Management,


  • Reporting to Head of EDM & DQ as well as DWS Chief Data Officer
  • Supporting stable NFRM metrics by timely Control Linkage / Risk Type Tagging / Monthly Status Updates

Quality Assurance, Approval & Admin for Data & Records related Findings Management, e.g.,


  • Central approval function for all finding lifecycle events (LCE)
  • QA reviews for all LCEs in DWS CDO to ensure adherence with FM framework
  • Systematic escalation process to avoid overdue findings

Findings Coverage & Lifecycle Review & Challenge for DWS CDO, e.g.,


  • Effectively partner with Key Stakeholders & SME within Central Functions area
  • Provide guidance & support to Findings Owners

Policy & Controls for Data & Records Management


  • Support Head of Data Management, Data Execution Lead and Records Management lead to streamline controls & objectives as well as Policy Landscape

Your Skills and Experience


  • Experience of working with findings/issue management
  • Knowledge of non-financial risks and controls Relevant for Data & Records
  • knowledge with Policy Landscape & Management
  • Must have soft skills, including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns.
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems and propose solutions that expressed needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; e.g. Excel , Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present supported topics
