Software Requirements:
- Proven experience with Java development (minimum 5 years).
- Expertise in Calypso APIs, with a strong focus on Calypso v16 or above.
- Familiarity with commodity asset class and trading processes.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Calypso to support trading and risk management functions.
- Customize Calypso functionalities, including scheduled tasks, reports, and engines.
- Enhance and optimize existing Calypso configurations and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage the processing of confirmations and payment notices within Calypso.
- Conduct troubleshooting and problem resolution for any issues related to Calypso applications.
- Generate and manage reports related to trade settlement, reconciliation, and overall trading processes.

Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements.
- Develop, test, and deploy Calypso applications and customizations.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Prepare documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Provide support for production issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Java development or Calypso systems are a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
