CAD Engineer

• Design of NVH components and products based on defined concepts along the VC ProMaP workflow from the RFQ phase to SOP - and supporting in the pre-RFQ phase
• Comprehensive knowledge of and working in compliance to design guidelines, standards and best practice portfolios
• Part design in respect to robustness, feasibility (DFM) and design to cost (D2C) using global VC Engineering tools, considering the respective due dates
• Optimization of components based on defined counter measures
• Documentation of development results (e.g. 3D/2D CAD, FEA reports and ProMaP deliverables) according to internal standards
• Preparation of dimensioned drawings for components and assemblies considering GD&T
• Develop own professional skills ongoing according to the state of the technology

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a comparable education

  
  

• You are experienced in CAD software (Catia or NX) to build and manage 3D models and technical drawings

  
  

• Your analytical thinking and creativity enable you to transfer a mechanical problem into a corresponding design

  
  

• With your willingness to learn, you constantly develop your skills according to state-of-the art technology

  
  

• As a team player with high engagement, you know how to communicate with your colleagues and customers in English language
