Job Description:
Job Title/Role: MCA Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Brief Description: Lead coordination of manufacturing/industrial activities at the Main Component Assembly and Detailed Parts manufacturing sites for C295 in India (Hyderabad).
Key Deliverables:
Define the best build process for the production manufacturing, taking into consideration inputs from the rest of the multi-functional team (MFT) and continuous improvement of the processes (including Station Time Variance (STV), Standard line balancing etc.).
Lead the concurrence and interface between Design Engineering and production.
Standardize the manufacturing process (e.g. Standard Operating Instructions - SOI).
Analyze and optimize build process, minimizing waste of time for production, and increasing the security for the production and product.
Perform Configuration Control Management.
Integrate the Manufacturing Dossier with all the technical information, quality control, maintenance, health and safety, equipment and tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the first installation taking into consideration inputs received from MFT.
Create / Update Bill of Material (BOM), routes, SOI… according to our applicable standards.
Define industrial resources (Equipment, tooling, special machines...) and the requirements for the creation or modification of them.
Define key characteristics of the product, and improve the key topics and repetitive problems that are impacting in the production area.
Be part of the MFT and support it, together with production, quality…
Support the continuous improvement, based on the ME experience.
Organize and support Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) / Process FMEA (PFMEA)
Analyze industrial impacts due to new modifications. Concurrence with design office in order to adapt the design to the real industrialization and production.
Ensure the configuration Control of the product.
Availability for traveling and being moved to other countries.
Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team.
Manage key / recurrent work prep issues escalated by the Production Team / Tech shop floor support.
Communicate directly and by a physical participation in Production Team routines.
Support shop floor continuous improvement by providing work prep expertise when issues not managed at shop floor level by technical shop floor support.
