FIS Cleared Derivatives (FIS CD) is our next generation post trade solution. Built from the ground up using the latest technology, it unleashes the true power and business benefits of our best of breed middle and back-office functionality brought today by Clearvision, GMI and UBIX.
FIS CD is looking for a Business Analyst for our module Stream Gateway (SGW) which interfaces Clearing House with FIS CD Middle Office Core solution.
What you will be doing

As a Business Analyst, you should:
- Take ownership and work autonomously on assigned projects
- Understand Product Owner / Client Expectation (Scope / Planning / Prioritization) and assess subsequent functional impacts for SGW and downstream systems.
- Provide accurate BA estimations, and commit to agreed ETA
- Follow the Agile procedures and be proactive to improve processes
- Proactively communicate functional changes with relevant stakeholders (Development Teams / Client Services Teams...)
- Write clear product specifications, understandable for all the Scrum Team (BA / DEV / QA) and Management.
- Guarantee the quality of the external client documentation which highly participates of overall client perception of the Product / FIS.
- Promote team spirit by reviewing QA Test Cases to ensure no features missing / misunderstanding with client engagement / expectation.
- Provide strong support during Member Testing (UAT), Pre-Production and Post-Production phases
Empower partnership with Exchanges / FIS CD Teams
- Collect information from Exchange / CCP and identify the one(s) that will have an impact on Middle Office Solution (SGW and Downstream systems)
- Participate to Exchange / Clearing Houses Meetings and represent FIS Middle Office Solution by sharing status / FIS Position / Roadmap related to any initiative.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
- More than 10 years of hands-on experience as business analyst.
- High Level Functional knowledge in Exchange Listed Derivatives Middle Office and Back-Office operations
- Knowledge of clearing and settlement process of post trade derivatives
- Solid understanding of standards relevant to the software and financial services industry (FIX, FIXML, API)
- Experience with a team composed of many roles (BA, DEV, QA) with multi-cultural and multi-regional environments
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
- Knowledge of technologies like JMS, IBM MQ for connectivity with exchanges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
- Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
- Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
