What does an outstanding Business Analyst do at Fiserv?

Corporate Systems is looking for talented Business Analyst to join our AppDev team to support the application environment for Leasing & Lending.   The ideal candidate should have broad business and technical background as they will support both the team and clients with the business applications in our environment.  Candidate will support efforts around the daily operations and lifecycle of the applications, including configurations, project support, documentation, technical validation and testing, ticket resolution, and job monitoring.  The role includes both technical and business aspects including analytical and troubleshooting skills to in support of the team and the applications.  

What you will do:

• Provide business and application support for the leasing and lending environment
• Resolve support tickets related to application configuration and end-user login issues, including adds/changes/deletes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs and logs to ensure seamless operations.

• Actively participation in projects and initiatives related to the software lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve technical issues to resolution
• Document processes related to application configurations, processes, support activities and solutions into knowledgebase

What you will need to have:

• 3-5+ years in analyst role supporting business software applications
• Hands-on experience dealing with business customers in a support role
• Previous experience in a fintech or financial services environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft SQL
• Willingness to learn 3rd party software application and grow with the team

What would be nice/great to have:

• Experience with Microsoft platforms
• Technical background in scripting, process flows, and technical writing
