As a Business Risk - Control Manager - Vice President within JPMorgan Chase & Co. Control Management, you will be a strategic thinker passionate about promoting solutions. You will play a key role in preventing, detecting, and monitoring operational, regulatory, and reputational risks. You will be a promoting force behind the strategic priorities that will future proof our business in an ever-changing global landscape. This role provides an opportunity to manage people, understand investment banking products, and perform end-to-end risk management life cycle activities. You will also have the chance to acquire project management certification and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and experience.


Job Responsibilities


  1. Manage people with a minimum of 6+ years of experience. 
  2. Understand investment banking products, including loans. Possess knowledge of NBIA/PSCM & CRA for internal candidates.
  3. Hold a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12+ years of relevant banking and financial services experience.
  4. Obtain risk certifications such as ORM, PRM, APRM, CIA, CRISC, or CORM for an added advantage.
  5. Acquire project management certification and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and experience. Consult with project stakeholders to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirements.
  6. Drive risk-based process improvement using techniques like PARC, FMEA, and process mapping.
  7. Perform end-to-end risk management life cycle activities, including risk assessments and reporting. Demonstrate a curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details.
  8. Exhibit a positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  9. Lead project/program management in an operations environment.
  10. Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  11. Adapt to work global hours with flexibility.
