Department

You will be part of Order Management Department in Manufacturing Operation-India, Global Supply Chain, Cement who supports Capital and Service for Materials, Warehouse & Logistics located in AKM / Chennai. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges. This department works closely with both our internal and external customers to ensure FLSmidth equipment’s on time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Role

We are looking to hire a skilled Manufacturing Production Planning & Control to provides expertise and best practice implementation about the planning and scheduling discipline, as he/she has a thorough understanding of advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques, Risk Management and analysis, and is able to support the Projects objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities

• Controls and adheres to production schedules and coordinates with material requirements
• Works with a controlled flow of approved materials
• Ensures optimal condition for equipment needed for the production process
• Provides input to changes to production processes
• May provide on-the-job training for less experienced colleagues
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities

What you bring

• In depth knowledge of planning and scheduling process.
• High level of mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands on experience in ERPs.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Production Engineering from a reputed

University.

Experience

15 - 20 years of experience in Project Management experience (Heavy equipment manufacturing) industry.
