 Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Business Manager-xP&A to join our Period Tower - Analytics COE -Global Finance Services Division


The Business Manager for xP&A team will lead the tower with a team size of 25-25 employees. The team activities include the following: Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, long term plan, various analysis on freight, discounts & transport costs for products manufactured in the company


The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield, Bangalore Office.


What you will do


The Business Manager for xP&A team will lead the tower with a team size of 25-25 employees. The team activities include the following: Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, long term plan, various analysis on freight, discounts & transport costs for products manufactured in the company.


  • A leader who can lead & motivate his employees in the team, work with internal stakeholders to make the transition & monthly activities smooth for delivery & Enhance value for the organisation
  • Business Manager xP&A has to focus on People, Process/Systems & Customers in every activity
  • 1People Manager role & handling a team with 25-45 employees
  • 2Oversee work delivery to internal customers on FP&A and plant related data analytics
  • 3Adhere to timelines & quality of delivery, based on global workday related tasks 
  • 4Build tools to capture team performance & handle customer quality calls with positive mindset
  • 5Establish an excellent working relatioship with the internal customers - through dashboard, adhoc requests, etc
  • 6The work will be non standard from 1 employee to another to start with, however the leader should be able to draw standard streams & built measurable metrics for stakeholders
  • 7Create Efficiency in the teams via automation, process improvement & identifying value drivers ($ savings, etc)
  • 8Work in a matrix organisation with dual reporting - India Leader & also the Global leader for the Tower
  • 9Build business acumen of the process & segment and ability to design programs to cascade the same knowledge to the team
  • 10Responsible for routine monthly reporting including profit center results and Rolling Business Management (RBM) as well as annual business processes, including the business plan, and executive reviews.
  • 11Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
  • 11budget vs actual or forecast, commentary on variances. Looking at discount/freight/transport on products being sold and comparing to the standard policy to identify opportunities for savings. Competitor analysis by geo or by product line & OPAC analysis 
  • 12Kindly note this scope of work is illustrative & additional scope may get added in this new role that is being created

Work location & Timings


  • 1Travel may be needed, occasionally
  • 2Most of the transition is from USA region & the team will need to be available between atleast 1 to 10 pm. 
  • 3Working from Bangalore, RMZ Office, Whitefield - 3 -4 days from office

What you will have 


  • Need 14+years of relevant years of experience as a Business Manager with a leadership expertise.
  • 1Excel & PPT Skills
  • 2Listening and Excellent Communication skills (Verbal & Written)
  • 3Experience of working with people - transformation journey and metrics definition projects will be added advantage
  • 4Working in ambiguos situations, positive mindset & solution oriented thinking
  • 5CA, CPA, ICWA, CIMA, ACCA may be added advantage
