Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence and Automation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Develop and manage data pipelines
Building optimized data models that support Power BI dashboard requirements by integrating data from enterprise data warehouses, cloud platform, and external sources.
Working closely with data engineers and other technical partners on foundational data model construction and data access.
Acting as the Power BI subject matter expert, including responsibilities for training, dashboard reviews, and issue troubleshooting.
Sharing solutions and collaborating with the broader 3M analytics, data intelligence, and technical community.
Designing, developing, and delivering Microsoft Power BI dashboards that enable senior leaders and business teams to efficiently access key sales and other information.
Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools and methodologies in data analysis and intelligence.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy of data analysis
Willingness to learn and embrace working with and collaborating with different cultures in a global environment
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution
Three (3) years full-time professional business experience developing data intelligence solutions in a private, public, government or military environment
Strong excel and Power BI skills
Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience developing variables and calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with the capability to effectively communicate with people worldwide across various time zones.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
Continuous learner with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and mythologies.
Experience with Python or R
Database administration experience
Master's degree in Business
Strong understanding of distributors financial goals/metrics
Background sales specifically with Industrial products
