BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Gather reporting requirements and analyze data to provide recurring reports.
Perform quality assurance and test conclusions to ensure analysis validity.
Select the right analysis methods for accurate analysis.
Deliver recurring reports and analyses to stakeholders on time.
Extract data from operational systems and databases for decision-making purposes.
Use standardized dashboards and best reporting practices to support BI needs.
Understand end-user needs and collaborate for clarity on assignment intent and purpose.
Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders on analysis and reporting.

Nimble learning through experimentation and using successes/failures as learning opportunities.
Self-development through formal and informal channels.
Tech-savvy and ability to adopt digital and technology innovations.
Data Analytics - Interpret qualitative and quantitative data, apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to extract meaningful insights and enable data-driven decisions.
Data Quality - Identify and correct data flaws for effective information governance and decision-making.
Recognize the value of different perspectives and cultures.
Action-oriented with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Data Mining - Extract insights by identifying relationships and patterns through data exploration and visualization techniques, enabling sound conclusions upon model building.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a relevant quantitative field.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Experience analyzing data and developing clear and accurate conclusions.
Experience in sales or supporting a sales organization is preferred.
Microsoft's advanced BI technologies (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate) hands-on experience is a must.
Strong communication skills.
Data modeling tools.
Conceptual understanding of big data (Volume, Velocity, and Variety).
Knowledge of Salesforce, Python/R, ML is an added advantage.
2-4 years of experience in analytics and data modeling/KPI reporting.
Technical knowledge and skills in Power BI, SQL (Python/R/ML knowledge is an added advantage).
