We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in exploring and expanding into new and adjacent verticals within the Protection & Automation Solution Business. This role will play a crucial part in identifying opportunities, forging partnerships, and driving revenue growth in these emerging markets.
Position Responsibilities
•Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new verticals for power automation and protection solutions (e.g. Microgrids, Digital Substations, FRTU, Power Management Systems, Energy Management Systems, Digitalization etc) ; Assess their market potential, competitive landscape and develop market intelligence
•Develop and a strategic business development plan to penetrate new and adjacent markets for energy automation solutions
•Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers to drive business opportunities.
•Drive revenue growth through proactive sales activities, strategic initiatives, and innovative approaches.
•Work closely with sales, engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts
•Evaluate risks and challenges associated with new market entries and develop mitigation strategies.

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics engineering; MBA is not mandatory but would be an advantage
•Proven track record of at least 7 years in business development or sales roles within the automation industry, with a focus on new market expansion.
•Strong understanding of automation technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
•Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
•Willingness to travel as needed.
