Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in SQL and data analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data governance or data quality and will be proficient in technical writing to ensure clear and concise documentation of processes and data flows. The role involves bridging the gap between technical and business requirements, making it crucial for the candidate to be adept at translating complex technical information into business-friendly language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and SQL:
  • Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Generate insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
• Data Governance and Quality:
  • Implement and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Monitor and enhance data quality, identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
• Business and Technical Requirements:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Technical Writing and Documentation:
  • Create detailed documentation for processes, data flows, and system requirements.
  • Develop user guides, manuals, and training materials to support system implementation and usage.
• Project Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data management, and business units, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide support during the testing phase, ensuring that business requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SQL and data analysis.
  • Proven experience in data governance or data quality management.
  • Experience in technical writing and creating detailed documentation.
• Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
