As a global leader in dental implants and orthodontic solutions, Straumann Group is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our agile team. You will work closely with the Product Owner, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive the development and success of one of our Platform teams, which supports accounts, login, user management and roles & permissions among other horizontal assets.

Roles and Responsibilities As a Software Business Analyst, you will:
- Define, document, and clarify requirements – proactively challenging assumptions and working closely with stakeholders, including medical professionals and end-users, to ensure requirements are comprehensive and aligned with business needs.
- Engage deeply with the development team – participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and being ready to roll up your sleeves to support the team in all aspects of development and delivery.
- Drive alignment between business objectives, UX design, and technical specifications – ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Assist the Product Owner (PO) in managing backlog priorities, conducting acceptance testing, and refining user stories.
- Proactively manage incidents – take ownership of production issues, coordinate swift resolution, and maintain a calm and methodical approach under pressure.
- Collaborate across international teams – facilitate cross-team communication and partnerships to leverage resources and expertise and drive successful project outcomes.
- Champion Agile best practices – support and facilitate SCRUM/KANBAN ceremonies (refinement, specifications, etc.) and help protect the team from outside distractions and interruptions.
Requirement- Proven experience as a Software Business Analyst or Product Owner with at least 4+ years in a commercial software environment.
- Hands-on experience with SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills in software requirements analysis and defining software tasks.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Atlassian Confluence.
- Experience in incident management and the ability to handle last-minute production issues calmly and effectively.
- Experience with platform teams and core services such as Platform User Management.
- Professional fluency in English.
Desirable:
- Solid background as a software developer with experience in design, coding, and debugging.
- Experience in compliance and regulated environments.
- Healthcare software experience and knowledge of FHIR standards.
