LCCI Tech Team is actively looking for a motivated leader for Enterprise Data Organization who will promote the optimal extraction of data and improve data infrastructure and operations aligned with organizational goals, while fostering operational excellence, compliance, and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.Senior leader and strategic business partner in driving data and analytics services to fuel business driven insights enabling a competitive advantage. Manages an enterprise-wide data function such as Enterprise Data Strategy, Governance, Data Delivery and common data architecture.

The Enterprise Data organization has developed an integrated and intuitive data and analytics platform.This platform enables Lilly team members to quickly ingest, transform, consume and analyze data sets in statistical environments, advanced analytics environments, and BI/visualization tools. Contributors can easily ingest, prepare, and analyze new data sets (cleanse, enhance, publish) for others to utilize.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engages with business and proactively seeks opportunities to deliver business value.
• Understands business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa
• Partner with stakeholders across business units  to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems
• Ensures appropriate business roles are engaged in solution execution.
• Participates in design reviews to ensure traceability of requirements.
• Networks with appropriate IT colleagues to determine solutions to meet business partners’ needs.
• Seeks opportunities to reuse existing processes and services to streamline support and implementation of key systems.
• Manages the request intake process.
• Communicates request portfolio status to multiple audiences, including all levels of management.
• Facilitates status meetings and issues management.

Basic Qualifications:

• MBA/ or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems or equivalent work experience 
• 6-10 Years Experience with software development from project initiation to deployment, support, and retirement 
• Experience with defining services for new capabilities 
• Knowledge of and experience with system integration, architecture and database design. 
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or similar Cloud platform 
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage multiple priorities 
• Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities 
• Demonstrated skills in partnering with others, including interpersonal skills, communications (esp. listening), business influence, and the ability to have crucial conversations 

Additional Information:

• Experience working in regulated environments and with internal systems quality policies and procedures 
• Certification in ITIL processes 
• Previous experience in an application services center of excellence or central support team 
• Understands the complexities of the data model associated with clinical trial design, planning and execution processes, as well as other critical business processes across the EDP
• Knowledge of the data architectures associated with information integration, data visualization, & data warehousing
