We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to work within a dynamic environment and as part of the Client Service Operations (CSO) team. The BA will be tasked with independently assessing the current process, identifying opportunities for automation and developing solutions in collaboration with the delivery and technology teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the CSO team embarks on the journey of continuous improvement and exceeds its goal of automation repeatable, labor intensive processes within delivery. An ideal BA possesses proficiency in comprehending business processes and requirements and translating them into detailed solutions for potential automation. It requires proactive communication with practitioners, delivery teams and developers to ensure timely and accurate information flow across multiple project stakeholders. The role demands managing multiple priorities in a calm and efficient manner, documenting and analyzing requirements, and understanding the technical trade-offs that have business impact, effectively communicating these to clients. Furthermore, it entails collaborating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements such as GUI, screen, and interface designs, acting as an interface between business units, technology teams, and support teams.The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:BI ResponsibilitiesGather intelligence from corporate executives and middle managers about needs and future growthProcess Mapping: Analyze and map current business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.Business Process Re-engineering: Re-engineer business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualizationRequirements Gathering: Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements from stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment.Automation Opportunity Evaluation: Assess and identify opportunities for automation within business processes and develop business cases to support automation initiatives.Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new processes and automation solutions.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure their needs are understood and addressed, and to secure buy-in for process improvements and automation initiatives.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and changes to ensure transparency and traceability.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve business analysis and process re-engineering methodologies.Partner with application directors and creators to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfullyAssume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashionEvaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processesDesign and execute A/B testing procedures to extract data from test runsCompile and distribute reports on application development and deploymentEvaluate and draw conclusions from data related to user behaviorConsult with the delivery team and the IT department on the newest technology and its implications in the industryProvide mentorship and guidance for other team members.Migrate and modernize legacy reporting into dynamic, robust self-service reporting systems.A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and 7+ years of experience in processes and standards related to data, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Proficient with data engineering fundamentals including data extraction, transformation and load using databases with large data volumesExcellent written and verbal communicationCommitment to obtaining outstanding results, delivering high quality work with a client centric mindsetSignificant experience in the design, development, and review of complex SQL and Python scriptsDemonstratable technical experience with some of the following:o Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQLo Scripting and exploration: Python, SQLo Visualization: Power BIo Big data: Spark, Databrickso Cloud computing: Azure, AWSo Experience performing complex data analysis of large datasetso Experience tuning T-SQL querieso Experience using source controlDeep expertise with advanced Excel and data manipulationAbility to analyze data to perform data cleansing and data manipulation to assure data is in the correct formatAbility to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the businessProven experience in business analysis, process mapping, and business process reengineering.Strong skills in requirements gathering and documentation.Ability to evaluate and identify automation opportunities within business processes.Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
