Role:  Business Analyst
Company: PayU 
Location: Gurgaon /Bangalore/Mumbai
Roles and Responsibilities:  
.Use data mining and quantitative analysis to identify drivers of business growth.
.Provide end-to-end delivery of process improvements including inception / identification of opportunity, analytical solutioning, stakeholder buy-in and co-ordinating with partner teams for market delivery.
·Investigate, create, implement and validate various risk and financial forecasts using complex data including cohort and time series analysis of loan balances, revenue performance, net income performance, portfolio dynamics, etc. and ensure an enterprise wide consistency in estimations.
·Use internal data and leverage macro level business intelligence to improve product offering, prevent missed opportunities or drive business commercials.
·Demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviours in alignment with policies and practices.
·Perform detailed analysis and interpret information to make recommendations to Senior management on critical strategies including non-standard and ad-hoc requests as determined by management.
·Ensure the timely and effective communication of forecasting results & variance drivers; anticipating potential needs in an effort to establish and maintain good working relationships with key business stakeholders.
.Perform diagnostic and predictive analytics to help create strategies that enable growth.
.Develop and monitor Pricing Framework for Acquisitions and Portfolio Management.
.Interface with Acquisition, Policy, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to help build relationships, set goals and track performance, providing an actionable feedback loop.

Required qualifications and experience:


  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an analytics role. Experience within banking, financial services or any other credit / lending domain is a good to have.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL. Experience with Python / R / SAS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic statistics and techniques used in marketing analytics (Time series forecasting, hypothesis testing, A/B testing).
  • Fair understanding of business metrics that may drive a financial product. Preferred candidates should be able to understand the P&L of a credit product.
  • Hands-on experience / familiarity with bureau data or credit policy is good to have.
