Banking Center Services (BCS) is a critically important organization within Consumer & Community Banking. BCS ensures operational success for the ATM channel, payment applications, branches, and other products and services.  The ATM Monitoring Group (AMG) and Integrated Monitoring and Control Center (IMCC) teams within BCS is a 24x7x365 operations team that is seeking a specialist for our Bengaluru, India locations.  The specialist is responsible for all activities performed during the "C Shift" (Shift Adherence).  Key activities include Level 1 support for ATM and Payment Applications which is inclusive of automated monitoring, issue discovery, triage, and communication.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Partner with business and technology partners to lead complex and/or highly visible initiatives and provide exceptional support to business partners across the firm (All BCS owned applications, BAM/ADI/UWAT)
    1. Develop system and application road maps required to support evolving business and operating models
    2. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement new solutions, maximize operating efficiencies and reduce cost
    3. Be the Information owner for all Application and UT’s from Bangalore perspective as applicable and perform the required regulatory steps to ensure zero violations
  • Participates in execution of a department or functional strategy; develops approaches and/or processes to accomplish goals
  • In an individual contributor role, functions as a key contributor with demonstrated knowledge of area of specialization as well as broader functional knowledge
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget 
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress 
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  •  Measure project performance using appropriate tools & report and escalates project issues and risks appropriately to the management
  • Leads project teams through project lifecycle from ideation to project execution, including the approval and demand management process, and ensures quality and timeliness of project completion
  • Directs activities, monitors details, and sets priorities and reviews root cause analysis
  • Tracks budget for projects managed
  • Executes superbly, meets commitments and drives for results with strong accountability

  • Obtain strong SME knowledge of the processes and be able to provide oversight across BCS/IS (Understanding of Application Support, ATM Monitoring and Image Services) and be the backup for the 602 and 603

  • Participate in turnover call and process/business and engagement related meetings

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:


  • Create/Plan and Manage the Reporting and Business Review Decks for the function and vet the data with the sources
  • Business metrics (understanding of the metrics and have an analytical mindset) and look for methods to constantly do a root cause analysis and find ways to improve.
  • Identify problems in meeting key performance indicators; resolve them to the satisfaction of the business
  • Look for improving Customer Service & efficiencies projects and creative use of available resources.
  • Ensure adherence to schedule
  • Continually raises the standard of quality in the work by self
  • Ability to think creatively with a problem solving and analytical mindset contributing to demand elimination and increasing process efficiencies
  • Work with the Team Leaders/ Operations Manager/Stakeholders to identify areas of opportunities
  • Supporting the Reward and Recognition, Allowances MIS (LOA, NSA, OT & Double pay)
  • Track performance and metrics managed by operation on a daily basis.
  • Partner with operations team managers and above to discuss their performance on the metrics and manage the service expectations
  • Work closely with operations and other support teams in both global and domestic sites to collate information
  • Manage and resolve system issues
  • Support BAU activities as per requirement.
  • Create an environment of high energy and enthusiasm, conducive to improvement in performance.
  • Promotes transparency in Communication and builds an atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation.
  • Zero violation on any of the Risk and Control parameters.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 
  • Preferably candidates with Technical qualification/skills - Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification
  • B.Tech, MBA, BCom graduates will also be considered
  • Prior People/Team management experience is preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong Excel & Presentation skill 
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of leadership
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to work within a team
