Business Units Information and Digital Solutions (IDS) is a global organization strategically positioned so that through information and technology leadership and solutions, we create meaningful connections and remarkable experiences, so people feel genuinely cared for. The Business Unit IDS organization is accountable for designing, developing, and supporting commercial or customer engagement services and capabilities that span multiple Business Units (Bio-Medicines, Diabetes, Oncology, International), functions, geographies, and digital channels. The areas supported by Business Unit IDS includes: Customer Operations, Marketing and Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Pricing, Reimbursement and Access, Customer Support Programs, Digital Production and Distribution, Global Patient Outcomes, and Real-World Evidence.
- This position is responsible for providing technical leadership and consultancy to Solutions in Sales and Marketing space in close partnership with BU-IDS Architects to ensure delivery of cloud solutions is aligned with the Enterprise IT architecture.
- Creates and reviews system designs to leverage existing standards, to evaluate alternative technologies and to build a cost-effective solution and acts as a mentor and guide to individual team members in terms of technology training and adoption
Competency
Tech Leads are responsible for ensuring that Scrum Team meets their technical delivery with availability and quality of tech stack needed for analysis and business transactions. This role is responsible for the best practices, following SDLC and making sure delivery is meeting customer requirements. Responsible for developing, constructing, testing and maintaining data sets and scalable data processing systems. Tech Leads work closest with Data Architects and Data Scientists. They also work with business and IT groups beyond the data sphere, understanding the enterprise infrastructure and the many source systems.

Desired Technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems or equivalent work experience
- 8-12 years of experience around must have Built Data Lake Solutions on the AWS, widely used AWS Services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, Codepipeline, SecretManager)
- Designs AWS & other cloud-native services architecture and builds best practices to deploy and maintain Cloud based solutions. Good hands-on experience using DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, and experience with guiding team to adopt best practices and implement the proposed architecture
- Ability to work with business owners to define key business requirements and convert to technical specifications
- Experience with security models and development on large data sets
- Expertise in the design, data modeling creation, and management of large datasets/data models
- Ensure successful transition of applications to service management team through planning and knowledge transfer
- Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate
- Responsible for system testing, ensuring effective resolution of defects, timely discussion around business issues and appropriate management of resources relevant to data and integration
- Expertise in system performance and user experience of solutions
- Expertise with analytics and business intelligence solutions (PowerBI)
- Partner with and influence vendor resources on solution development to ensure understanding of data and technical direction for solutions as well as delivery
- Experience with Agile Development.
- Experiance with S3, Lambda, Glue and Athena.
- Experience with Prefect and Step Functions
- Experience with Devops toolsets like GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform toolsets
Preferred Qualifications / Certifications
- Experience working in regulated environments and with internal systems quality policies and procedures
- Experience in working in Scrum - agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management (GITHUB), build processes
- Knowledge of the data architectures associated with information integration, data visualization, & data warehousing
- Experience in development and deployment on cloud infrastructure
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
- Early drug discovery industry experience
- Experience with Sales & Marketing Business processes & systems
- Defining best practices and developing technical standards, design principals, best practices, and frameworks
- AWS Solution Architect Certifications
