BMS Engineer
What this job involves:
As a Building Management System (BMS) Engineer at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of creating smarter, more efficient buildings for our clients. You'll join a team that's collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves, and our fellow employees. In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain building automation systems that optimize energy usage, improve occupant comfort, and enhance overall building performance. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering innovative solutions that align with JLL's commitment to sustainability and technological advancement. What your day-to-day will look like: Design and implement BMS solutions for various building types and sizes
Conduct system audits and performance analyses to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BMS with other building systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex BMS issues
Develop and maintain documentation for BMS configurations and operations
Train clients and team members on BMS operation and maintenance
Stay updated on the latest BMS technologies and industry trends Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services
Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMS design, implementation, and maintenance
Proficiency in major BMS platforms (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls)
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building operations
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to embrace innovative ways of working and adapt to new technologies Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
Professional certifications (e.g., CSCS, CIBSE, ASHRAE)
Experience with energy management and sustainability practices
Knowledge of IoT and cloud-based BMS solutions
Familiarity with building codes and regulations
Project management experience
