Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They've been focusing on optimizing processes centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimising processes and installing automation.


As a Blackline Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Blackline implementation and project management. In this role, you'll lead client discussions, manage end-to-end implementation projects, and serve as a strategic advisor to drive successful deployments. You'll play a vital role in facilitating and overseeing the process to exceed client expectations and achieve their goals.


Your tasks will include:


  • Drive engaging client discussions to uncover business needs and shape the scope of Blackline implementation projects.
  • Take charge of managing and overseeing Blackline implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery that aligns perfectly with client objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Blackline, guiding clients through best practices and innovative solutions to elevate their financial processes.
  • Team up with technical teams to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and effectively addressed throughout the implementation journey.
  • Keep a close eye on project progress, proactively spot potential challenges, and craft strategic solutions to keep everything on track!
  • Offer hands-on training and dedicated support to clients during and after implementation, ensuring a seamless adoption experience.
  • Lead dynamic workshops and engaging meetings to gather client requirements, delivering continuous support throughout the project lifecycle.

To be a good fit for the Blackline Consultant role, you will have:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 4-6 years experience in Blackline implementation and financial close automation
  • Exceptional project management skills, dedicated to delivering results and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective engagement with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic insights and advise clients on the best practices in financial process automation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills paired with the ability to navigate and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in consulting or advisory roles focused on financial automation tools
  • Knowledge of various financial automation platforms and ERP systems
  • A project management certification (like PMP or PRINCE2)
